1. History: Read these articles to get a basic understanding of Bluegrass and the key banjo players that started it all.

2. Equipment: This section lets you know what equipment you will need to learn the banjo.

3. Banjo Tech: Information that describes the major parts of the banjo.

4. How To Read Tab: Tablature is important In this section. There are 7 lessons that will teach you how to read tab.

5. Banjo Rolls: Learn the basic 5 rolls. This will get your fingers used to what strings they are suppose to pick. This will make it a lot easier to learn full songs. (First 5 lessons are
samples)
6. Banjo Chords: Before you start picking, you will need to know some basic chords. This section has the 3 basic chords and a few extra.7. Start Pickin': This section has 12 lessons that teach you the 3 major fretting hand techniques. the "Slide", "Hammer" and "Push Off". Playing rolls involves: the 3 major chords. picking the song Cripple Creek while using videos , tab and MP3's that you play along with. (First lesson is a
sample)8. Start Chucking: Now that you can pick you need to learn to chuck so you can play along in jam sessions.
9. Once you have completed all 7 sections, you'll be able to go to the song section and learn new tunes. I would suggest Bil-em Cabbage Down, and THEN Foggy Mountain. Foggy Mountain contains the licks needed to play many other bluegrass songs.
